A great story to be shared

The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched. They must be felt within the heart. - Helen Keller

Actually, aku baru abes kelas quality...yakni, aku tinggal lagi 2 hari untuk ke penghujung minggu 14 yang jugak bermaksud, aku akan start study week pulak!!  yieeeeeehhhaaaakkk!! X sabar giler ok... Then, start la final exam... kalo xde pape aral melintang, InsyaALLAH aku akan grad tahun depan... huhuhu...

Abes kelas semalam.. 19 Dec 2011

Now, talking about quality class just now, after settle with all of the presentations and what not, the lecturer is just like a must to give comments and tell two or three stories as the examples in order to make us have further understanding about the topic. But for me it was like sembang-sembang jugak la...

One of the stories is about HELEN KELLER...It is the same name stated at the quote above. Did u realize that?hehehe.. Have you heard about this name? I have no idea about that at first. But then, the lecturer began to tell us a story about her...

A real story about herself...

Helen Keller
Helen Keller is a deaf, mute and blind girl since 19 months old. What do you aspect how her life could be? Her mother loved her so much but she does not know how to teach the baby about this world. Bear in mind that Helen cannot talk...cannot see...and cannot hear... How sad she is, right?

My lecturer added that Helen’s parent was keep searching and hiring the right teacher for her and however, there was no teachers who understand and able teach her. All of the teachers were like come and go process for the family and lastly, they hired a teacher as well as companion for Helen and as I referred to Wikipedia, the teacher - Annie Sullivan was also a nearly blind person.

Annie Sullivan

The question now is how the teacher taught Helen until Helen able to graduate from her university? The first word that Annie taught Helen was `D-O-L-L’ by writing the word on Helen’s palm. At first, Helen cannot understand the word as for her it was to unique to identify it. Then, Helen started to understand after Annie taught her W-A-T-E-R by let the water runs on Helen’s hand. That’s how Helen keeps asked for other familiar objects.

Helen never gave up until she entered university and of course Annie was always by her side and guided her until Annie passed away and she left Helen handled herself alone. Helen came out with several books, of course about herself - The Story of My Life and also few articles. There was also a movie or maybe drama based on the book and if I am not mistaken the title is The Miracle Worker...

Guys... Don't you think Helen Keller is a strong and tough woman? Do we will be just like her if we deaf, mute and blind? For me, this person should be an inspiration for us to move forward and just bear in mind that we are not the only people who suffer and feel the pain because there are hundreds people who most suffer if compared to us...right? =)

Never bend your head. Hold it high. Look the world straight in the eye.
